Blue hair, don’t care!
An avid Duke fan, once I added the blue streak to my hair several years ago during the NCAA tournament, there was no turning back! Plus, it’s earned me a lot of cred with my adolescent clients 😉 While I grew up a Blue Devil and still bleed blue, I earned my undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University (Go Deacs!) and my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNC-Greensboro.
I am a National Board Certified Counselor and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor. I am also a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider.
I treat clients with a multitude of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief & loss, trauma (EMDR trained), eating disorders, life transitions, and middle-school & high-school angst. I am currently in my somatic experiencing training. I work with clients of all genders, ages 15 through adulthood. It is my deepest privilege to walk alongside others in their journeys.
I love to travel, sing a cappella, ride the Peloton, try new restaurants, and I miss Coach K.
